Clifton, TX – One Killed in Motorcycle Crash on TX-6

Clifton, TX (October 12, 2020) – A crash reported on Sunday afternoon in the Clifton area claimed the life of one person. On October 11, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the site of a multi-vehicle crash on Texas State Highway 6.

Reports provided by a spokesman with the Texas Department of Public Safety indicate that at approximately 3:20 p.m., a group of six motorcyclists became involved in a collision. As one Harley Davidson traveled down the road, it collided with a Dodge Ram pickup truck in the southbound lanes of the highway near the intersection with Farm to Market Road 2136.

The rider on the Harley sustained fatal injuries in the accident. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Three other riders were injured. All three victims were rushed to area hospitals where they were admitted in critical condition. At this time, the incident remains under investigation with troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
