Dallas, TX – Pedestrian Fatally Struck by Train on S Lancaster Rd

Dallas, TX (September 28, 2020) – An auto accident in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas claimed one person’s life on Friday evening. At approximately 9:15 p.m., on September 25, the Dallas Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Lancaster Road.

According to reports, a pedestrian was on the track after being granted the right of way when they were struck by a Blue Line train near the area of Lancaster Road and Saner Avenue, which is positioned between the Kiest and Illinois stations.

The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was immediately declared deceased at the scene by responding officers. At this time, the crash remains under investigation.
