Lubbock, TX – One Person Injured in Fire Incident on 40th St

Lubbock, TX (May 31, 2020) – At around 2:05 p.m., on May 29, authorities were called to the scene of an incident in the 2800 block of 40^th Street.

Reports show that a fire broke out at a residence along the road for unknown reasons. Crews responding to the scene had to force entry into the single-story home.

One person was located inside the structure. The victim was transported via EMS to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Fire Marshalls.
