Manor, TX – One Killed & One Injured in Fire on Hamilton Point Circle

Manor, TX (October 27, 2020) – A structure fire reported early Tuesday morning claimed one person’s life in Manor. At around 4:45 a.m., on October 27, the Travis County Emergency Services District #12 responded to the site of a fire incident with the Austin Fire Department.

Reports show that the home located at 16721 Hamilton Point Circle caught on fire during the morning hours for unknown reasons. The fire caused significant damage to the home. Crews battled the blaze as it spread throughout the single-story structure and were able to take control of the situation within a short period.

Crews located one person deceased in the home. The victim has only been identified to the public as an elderly female. A second person was located outside the home and was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

At this time, the cause of the fire remains under investigation with local law enforcement agencies.
