Denison, TX (April 23, 2020) – A pedestrian accident early Tuesday claimed one woman’s life and left a man seriously injured.

On April 21, Katie Palmer and her husband John were walking around the edge of Glenwood Drive, around 8 a.m., when they were struck by a pickup truck.

Both victims suffered devastating injuries in the collision. Katie Palmer was airlifted to a hospital in Plano. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries just after 1 a.m., on April 22.

John Palmer was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
