Houston, TX - One Killed in Two-Car Collision at I-45 & Airtex Blvd

Houston, TX (April 15, 2024) - There were fatal injuries reported after a car accident in the Houston area on Saturday, April 13. The deadly crash was reported on Interstate 45 SB near the exit for Airtex Boulevard early that morning. Two vehicles reportedly collided at the scene. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to render aid, and the vehicle was hit from behind by another vehicle while stationary. One person was reportedly killed in the crash. No other injuries were reported in the accident. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and tow trucks were needed to clear the scene of the resulting debris in order to reopen the area to outside traffic. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
