Sherman, TX – Accident on US-82 Leaves Three Injured

Sherman, TX (August 15, 2020) – On August 13, the Sherman Police and Fire Departments responded to the scene of a crash on US Highway 82.

Reports provided by local authorities show that a two-car crash occurred on US Highway 82 near the intersection with Whitney Road. At least three people involved in this crash were injured. At least two people were transported to local hospitals by ambulance. One victim was flown to a hospital in Plano with severe injuries.

At this time, the police are trying to determine if a parked semi-truck on the shoulder of the roadway obstructed the views of the drivers, which lead to the accident.
