San Antonio, TX – Crash on Loop 1604 Claims One Life

San Antonio, TX (September 2, 2020) – A collision reported in the San Antonio area claimed the life of one victim on Monday morning.

At approximately 6 a.m., on August 31, the San Antonio Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Loop 1604. Reports provided by authorities show that a vehicle was traveling south on Texas Loop 1604 when the driver collided with a dump truck near US Highway 90.

The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to burst into flames with the driver inside. The driver of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries in the accident. The victim was immediately pronounced dead by responding authorities.

The driver of the dump truck and their passenger were both uninjured in the crash. At this time, the police in San Antonio are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
