San Antonio, TX – Man Killed in Auto Accident on I-35

San Antonio, TX (January 4, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Sunday evening in the San Antonio area claimed one man’s life. At approximately 5:30 p.m., on January 3, authorities responded to the scene of a crash on Interstate 35.

Reports from the San Antonio Police Department show that a crash involving a Mercedes and a flatbed truck took place in the 3600 block of Interstate 35. The impact of the crash caused moderate damage to the vehicles involved.

The driver of the flatbed, identified as a male in his 50s or 60s, was fatally injured in the accident. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and pronounced the victim deceased.

Details surrounding the extent of injuries sustained by other people involved in the accident are limited at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation with the police in San Antonio.
